The Tunisian Agency of Internet (A.T.I) launched on March, 16th 2009 the liberalization process of its extension, .TN. According to the latest news, the Register had announced July, 14th 2010 as the last day for the “Sunrise”. On July 15th, 2010, the A.T.I official website was referring to the “total and effective” opening of .TN!

Yesterday Telnic Limited, the registry of .TEL, proceeded to the launch of internationalized domain names (IDN) in 16 different languages. As a matter of fact, it is now possible to register IDN.TEL domains in traditional and simplified Chinese, Danish, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
