Why is my domain name not registered yet?

Your domain name is not registered yet?
There are several possible reasons:

A. Your payment has not been confirmed.
We only register your domain name after confirmation of your payment.
Depending on the payment method, this will take a certain time:
- Credit card: same day activation, except in case of identification problems with your credit card
- Bank transfer from Belgium: 2 to 3 working days
- Bank transfer from France: 8 working days
- Cheque: 11 working days

B. The domain name you ordered is already registered by someone else
In case the domain name is registered by someone else, you will not be able to register it. There are 2 solutions:
1. You choose another domain name which is still available.
2. You contact the owner of the domain name by visiting the site www.whois.net, and you ask him if he wants to sell his domain name to you.

C. The domain name you ordered is already registered by you at another agent.
In case you are already the owner of the domain name, you have to follow the transfer procedure.
Follow the transfer procedure that is mentioned on our website.
As soon as the domain name has been transferred to Register.eu, the domain manager is at your disposal.

D. The domain name is in quarantine
It is not possible to transfer a domain name which is in quarantine (only for a .be or .eu) .
There are 2 possibilities in that case:
- Or you ask your current agent to reactivate your domain name, and you transfer it to Register.eu after that
- Or you wait until the domain name becomes available, and you register it with Register.eu. In that case you have the risk that someone else registers the domain name before you!

E. The domain name is being processed by AFNIC
This takes about 24 to 48 hours after reception of your payment

F. Other problem
In case you have received a payment confirmation, and your domain name is still not registered:
- there might be a technical problem
- we could not allocate your payment to your order
