How do I configure an alias?
Hereby you find the procedure for the configuration of the aliases:
A. What is an alias?
With aliases, you can attribute several mail adresses to 1 mail account.
This mail account is accessible with the usual login and pasword.
Each mail which is sent to your alias will be sent to your mailbox. An example:
Mail adres: paul.lejeune@mydomain.net
Alias : p.l@mydomain.net
Alias : pl@mydomain.net
B. How do I create an alias?
- Go to your Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' klik 'Configuration'
- In the column 'Alias' and in the row of the mail address for which you want to create an alias, click 'Configuration'
- Type the alias and click 'Create'
The number of aliases is not limited.
C. How do I delete an alias?
- Go to your Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' klik 'Configuration'
- In the column 'Alias' and in the row of the mail address for which you want to create an alias, click 'Configuration'
- In the row of the alias you want to delete, click 'Delete'
D. How do I change an alias?
In order to change an alias, you delete that alias, and then create another one.
