A. What is a name server?
The name server indicates the physical place where your website and mailbox are.
Without name servers, nobody could find his domain name on the internet.
We offer the use of our name servers from the moment you register your domain name.
Our standard name servers are:
ns1.Register.eu
ns2.Register.eu
ns3.Register.eu
The name servers allow you:
- to publish your website with our hosting
- to reroute the visitors to your website through the use of URL forwarding
- consult your mailboxes
In case your website is managed by another company, you can use the name servers of that company.
For this, you have to change the name servers in your
Domain Manager.
In the following situations however, you have to use our name servers:
- your website is hosted on our servers
- you have one or more of our mailboxes
- you use our URL forwarding
ATTENTION:
Mail and hosting are affected by these changes.
Please leave the standard settings untouched if you don't know which impact your changes have.
