General conditions of the national / international registration authorities

The Client who registers a domain name via Register NV, its subsidiaries or its partners accepts the general conditions of the national or international registration authority of the specific extension of the domain name. Below you find a list of links to the general conditions of the most frequently registered extensions. If a specific extension is not listed this does not exempt the Client from accepting the specific conditions for that extension.

When you register a .co.uk domain name you are also entering into a contract with Nominet and you agree to their terms and conditions. This is a separate contract to any you may have with a third party for the provision of Internet services. Please read before you register your domain name.

Each Registered Name holder should indemnify, defend and hold harmless VNDS, and its directors, officers, employees, agent, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, cost and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses arising out of or relating to the Registered Name holder’s domain name registration.

If the client enters an address outside of the European Union, the client explicitly requests to use an administrative address in Brussels offered by Register NV free of charge. In this case the client declares that he fulfils the conditions to be able to register a .eu as defined in the Eurid General Conditions (ie that he has a physical address in the European Union).

We can register domain names on behalf of companies and private persons who have no presence in France. The representation contract implies that E-ZONE SAS is the legal owner of the domain name and that the client has all user rights over the domain name, including termination and transfer. In case of abuse or non respect of the General Conditions, as described by AFNIC, E-ZONE SAS has right to remove or transfer the domain name concerned.

The Client has to protect E-ZONE SAS against any act of fraud, related to the services delivered by E-ZONE SAS. As a consequence, the Client shall assist E-ZONE SAS in its defense and shall indemnify E-ZONE SAS for any damage resulting of such a complaint (i.e. judicial costs, indemnities, etc.)
