Representation contract for .FR domain names
This is only valid for .fr domain names.
The AFNIC organisation is the only one in France which can register .FR domain names.
As of 20 June 2006, every person with a postal address in France (or overseas French territories) can register a .FR domain name of his choice.
Before that date, this was only the case for fysical persons or organistations which were identifiable with the SIREN/SIRET number, or those who possessed a registered brand name in France or which covered France.
In case you do not have an postal address in France, we offer the possibility to register your domain name as your representative. In that case, Register.eu will register the domain name, but you keep all the rights regarding to the use of the domainname. You can create mailboxes, publish your site, ...
Upon your request, Register.eu will transfer your domain name to another agent, on condition of approval by AFNIC.
By choosing for a contract with representation, you satisfy all the criteria set out by AFNIC regarding the registration of .FR domain names. You receive a form containing those rules for your approval/signature.
