You can configure your mail as follows:
A. How many mail addresses can I configure?
Each hosting formula allows you to configure 1 or more mail addresses.
You can create an unlimited number of mail addresses, 1, 5 or 10 at a time.
Each mail address has to be unique. For each mail address you can determine wether you read your mail through software on your computer (such as Outlook) or through webmail.
B. How do I create a mail address?
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' click 'Order'
- Select the number of mailboxes that you want to order: 1 or 5 or 10
- Click 'Continue'
- Click 'Back to Domain Manager'
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' click 'Configuration'
- Click 'Create'
- Enter the mail address you want to create
- Click 'Create'
From the moment when the mailbox is active, the system will automatically generate a password.
You can change that password (see below).
C. How to delete a mail address?
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' click 'Configuration'
- For the mail address to be deleted, click 'Delete'
- Click 'Delete' again to confirm
Beware: all mails which remain in the mailbox will be lost.
D. How can I modify a mail address?
To change a mail address, simply create a new one and delete the old one.
E. How can I read my mails with a POP3 mail software?
Example of a POP3 mail program: Outlook
Configuration of your POP3 mail program:
- Incoming POP3 mailserver: mail.Register.eu
- Outgoing mail server: enter the mail server of your internet provider (for example for Telenet: 'uit.telenet.be')
- Login = username = complete mail address
- Pasword = the paswoord you received while registering your domain name
In case your outgoing mails do not arrive at their destination, please contact your internet provider.
F. How can I read my mails with webmail?
- Go to the
webmail
- Enter your username: this is the complete mail address of the mailbox you want to visit
- Enter your password
G. How can I change my mail password?
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' klik 'Configuration'
- For a particular mail address and under 'Password' click 'Edit'
- Enter the new password
- Click 'Edit'
H. What is an alias?
An alias allows you to assign several mail addresses to 1 mail account. This mail account is accessible with 1 username and 1 password. Every mail sent to your alias will automatically be delivered to your mail account.
Example:
Mail address: peter.smith@mydomain.net
Alias 1: p.s@mydomain.net
Alias 2: smith@mydomain.net

- For a particular mail address and under 'Alias' click 'Configuration'
- Enter the alias
- Click 'Create'
J. How can I delete an alias?
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' klik 'Configuration'
- For a particular mail address and under 'Alias' click 'Configuration'
- Click 'Delete' to remove a particular alias
K. How can I modify an alias?
To modify an alias, first delete it and then create another one.
L. Mail catch-all
With a mail catch-all, you can receive mails which are sent to your domain name, but with an unexisting mail address or unexisting alias.
Example:
Existing mail address: peter.smith@mydomain.net (has no aliasses)
Unexisting mail address: pleter.smith@mydomain.net
When a mail is sent to the address pleter.smith@mydomain.net, then it will be delivered to the mailbox which you entered for 'Forward all other mail to'
Mail catch-all configuration
- Go to your domain manager
- Under 'Mailbox Configuration' klik 'Configuration'
- At 'Forward all other mail to', enter the mail catch-all address
M. Mail forwarding (with webmail)
With mail forwarding, you can redirect all mails sent to a certain mailbox, to another mailbox.
- Go to the
webmail
- Enter the complete mail address and the password
- Click 'Options'
- Click 'General'
- Besides 'Forward all mail to the following address', enter the mail address
- Click 'Update Preferences'
N. How can I use the mail services of another provider?
You can redirect your mail traffic to another server.
For this you need to know the name of the mail server of that particular provider, and you need to change the MX-record:
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Nameservers - Sub domains' click 'Configuration'
- Under 'Mail-Traffic' click ‘Change’
- For 'MX10-record', enter the mail server of your internet provider
- Click 'Update !'
Changes have effect within 2 hours.
To return to the original MX-record settings:
- Go to your
Domain Manager
- Under 'Nameservers - Sub domains' click 'Configuration'
- Under 'Mail-Traffic' click ‘Change’
- Click 'Set to Register.eu'
Changes have effect within 2 hours.
