This is how you configure your webmail:
A. How do I have access to webmail?
- Go to the
Webmail
- Enter your username. This is your complete mail address (example: rain@rainbow.com)
- Enter your password (Attention: this is another password than the one of your Domain Manager)
The advantage of webmail is that you can access your mails from any computer in the world connected to internet.
B. Options - Filters
The place of a filter in the list of filters determines in which sequence they will be treated: first filter 1, then filter 2, etc …
With filters, you can take actions if certain conditions are met.
Example 1: You can drop each incoming mail for rain@rainbow.com in the folder 'rain'
Example 2: You can forward every mail containing 'client' to another mail address.
However, you cannot take 2 actions with the same criteria. The first filter (highest in the list) determines which action will be taken.
C. Options - General
'Forward all mail to the following address:'
All incoming mails will be forwarded to the mail address you enter here. Every mail will also be dropped into your inbox or into another mailbox, depending on the action of an eventual filter.
Example 3: You want to drop every mail sent to rain@rainbow.com in the folder 'rain', and at the same time, you want to forward every incoming mail to another mail address. In 'Options - Filters' you can make a filter dropping your mails in the 'rain' folder. In Options - General - Forward all mail to the following address:' you can forward every incoming mail to a particular address.
In case you select 'Don't deliver to this mailbox', none of the incoming mails is delivered tot the Register.eu inboxes. All incoming mails are forwarded to the given address.
