If you have a hosting package with a pre-installed version of a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Joomla), you can reset or reinstall your CMS via the control panel.
If you have regular web hosting (without a pre-installed version of any CMS) you have to option to install WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento with a one-click-install via the control panel. You can use that 1-click install to install/reset the CMS on your web hosting.
Follow these steps in the control panel:
- Go to “My products”> “Web hosting”> Click the button “Manage hosting” to the right of your domain name for which your CMS is installed.
- In the menu on the left, choose WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento (depending on which CMS you have chosen)
- Go to the “Reinstall” tab and click “Reinstall”. Your hosting package is completely reset and all data is deleted.
- Set a new password after reinstalling your CMS.
Note that if you reinstall your CMS, your hosting package will be completely reset and all your data will be erased.
